French-Senegalese defender Abdou Diallo has inked a permanent deal with Qatar's Al-Arabi Sports Club, PSG announced on their official website on Tuesday, August 15.

Diallo's journey kicked off with his AS Monaco debut in 2014 against Olympique de Marseille. After a loan stint at Zulte Waregem in 2015-2016, he returned to Monaco, contributing to their 2017 French championship win.

Bundesliga beckoned, leading Diallo to FSV Mainz in 2017-2018 and later Borussia Dortmund, securing a German championship runner-up spot. In 2019, he donned the Paris Saint-Germain jersey, showcasing his versatility in defense.

His 75 appearances and 7 trophies for PSG, including two French Championships and the 2020 Coupe de la Ligue, underscore his impact. Diallo's loan to RB Leipzig in 2022-2023 ended with helping secure the German Cup.

Once captain of France U-21, Diallo opted to represent Senegal internationally, contributing to their 2021 African Cup of Nations triumph.

Reflecting on his PSG tenure, Diallo stated, "Though distant, Paris remains close to my heart. I'm forever thankful for wearing this shirt." Paris Saint-Germain extends best wishes to Diallo in his new journey.
