Paris Saint-Germain is a relatively young football club, with only 53 years of history, yet it has had a significant impact at the European level. It is the most successful club in the history of Ligue 1, with 11 titles. Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been the president of the Parisian club for 13 years, during which he has achieved great things both in football and business.

In the interview with RMC Sport, Al-Khelaifi talked about the history that has been built during his presidency at PSG. While he has managed to bring together several stars of world football at Paris Saint-Germain, creating an exciting story for the club, he also pointed out:

“It's part of the project, great players, who are also very good. They're not just names, they're incredible, the best players in the world. It's an honor that Zlatan, Ney, and Leo played for our team, obviously for our club, and that was also part of the strategy,” expressed Nasser.

PSG's past sets the stage for the club's future

“Now, you know, we have a new cycle. But all this makes us all proud. And there were these players that no one thought would ever wear the PSG shirt”. The president of PSG also spoke about the new project that is currently looming, with a focus on the future of the club. Youth is essential to handle this new cycle, and Luis Enrique seems to be the ideal coach to lead this new PSG.

The long-awaited Champions League is expected to arrive at the club soon. Nasser has worked throughout PSG's history to see the team achieve European glory, and it seems that with this new project, in the coming years, the success the club seeks in Europe will be reflected.
