Malcom wants move to PSG, might force exit from Zenit
There are only three days left before the winter transfer window closes and things are surely heating up in Paris. PSG transfer target and Zenit Saint Petersburg forward Malcom might be trying to force his way out of Russia to land with Paris Saint-Germain in the next few hours.
It's been widely reported that Olympique Lyon forward Rayan Cherki is the actual no. 1 target on PSG's radar to try and sign through the remainder of the transfer window. Sadly, OL don't seem to be pleased to let the 19-year-old go so soon--or at all.
Earlier this week, reports emerged about Malcom's agent offering the player services to PSG if the French club wanted to bolster their forward line in January. That alone, of course, doesn't mean that PSG are actually interested in acquiring Malcom, though he might be a reasonably good option available for little money to have around for the second half of the season.
Malcom wants out of Zenit, is willing to join PSG before the end of January
According to L'Equipe, the Brazilian player might really be excited about this saga and could even go the distance to force an exit from Zenit on his way to Paris if PSG deem his talents good enough.
Malcom, who is somehow only 25 years old and is currently in Qatar with Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg, might have already let his team know about his intention to leave the side as early as this weekend and before the January transfer window ends next midweek.
With PSG trying to acquire defender Milan Skriniar before the summer (even though they already have his worth about a future arrival) and a tight financial situation limiting the French club's room for operation, L'Equipe is floating a potential loan with a must-buy clause attached to it in order for PSG to acquire Malcom now.
The sale of Keylor Navas to Nottingham Forest, added to the departure of Pablo Sarabia to Wolverhampton, should add some cash to the PSG coffers. Whether that's enough or not to pull off both signings of Malcom and Skriniar in January is unknown.
The good news for the impatient folks out there? The market closes in just a few hours. Just a couple of days to go!
