Movistar Plus+ cameras captured Luis Enrique's reaction to Ousmane Dembele's missed golden opportunity in the 54th minute of the PSG vs. Girona (1-0) match on Wednesday evening.

As the official broadcaster of the UEFA Champions League in Spain, Movistar Plus+ had a dedicated camera trained on Luis Enrique throughout Paris Saint-Germain's hard-fought 1-0 victory over Girona.

This special focus allowed the Spanish network to capture every moment of the coach's emotional reactions, particularly during a key moment midway through the second half.

When Ousmane Dembele squandered a golden opportunity to score, Luis Enrique’s animated and visibly frustrated response was caught on camera, offering an inside look at the tension on the PSG bench during this pivotal moment of the match.

Dembele, well set up by Randal Kolo Muani, lacked composure when it came to finishing, eventually being caught by a Girona defender. After an impressive start to the season, with four goals already for PSG and France, the Parisian winger was far less clinical on Wednesday, despite several attempts.

“I suffered more than during childbirth,” Luis Enrique joked in the post-match press conference following his team’s late win, secured by a fortunate goal from Nuno Mendes in the 90th minute. It’s worth noting that Luis Enrique will feature in an upcoming documentary series on Movistar Plus+, set to air from 30th September in Spain. The series will follow his life in Paris during the 2023/2024 season.

Chance after chance, yet nothing to show for it. Ousmane Dembele's inconsistency was startling, much like last season. While he posed plenty of threat, he ultimately made no tangible impact. It was a tough night for PSG's number 10. His missed opportunities in the 55th and 86th minutes were particularly costly, and such chances simply cannot be squandered.
