Randal Kolo Muani, despite enduring a challenging start to the season, reportedly is still firmly in the plans of both PSG manager Luis Enrique and French national squad head coach Didier Deschamps just months ahead of Euro 2024, staged for next summer.

Kolo Muani was signed by PSG after a breakout year in Germany but the transition to the French giants hasn't been as smooth as advertised. So far, RKM has scored 4 goals and contributed 2 assists, which could be much worse, but it's more about his lack of involvement in the games that has raised some concerns.

Reports have emerged suggesting Luis Enrique values Muani's contributions off the ball and appreciates his versatility, something that is not surprising considering Enrique's past at Barcelona, where off-ball movement was always a key part of the scheme.

Goncalo Ramos has been an important piece of PSG's lineup through their ongoing Ligue 1 run, but Kolo Muani has started all five Champions League matches to date in a quite revealing development about the trust of Enrique in the Frenchman.

Moving on to international play, France national head coach Didier Deschamps and his coaching staff also consider RKM a contender for the Euro 2024 squad, namely to take on the role of the main striker while facing competition from veteran Olivier Giroud and forward Marcus Thuram.

While there is still a lot of time between now and the start of the competition next summer, it's believed Deschamps thinks Muani's struggles at PSG are simply because of an adaptation period required to be completed by the striker following his move from Germany.

With the Champions League's group stage about to come to an end, it'll be interesting to see if RKM can start featuring more promently and producing better numbers in the Ligue 1 usurping Ramos of his role, or if RKM will struggle until the return of the European competitions next year.

Whatever happens in the next three months can be crucial for RKM's chances at getting that no. 9 role with France next summer and also to solidify his role in the PSG pecking order.
