In the kickoff of Matchday 24 of Ligue 1, PSG settled for a draw on Monaco's turf (0-0). In response, Lucas Beraldo shared his thoughts in the mixed zone.

Four days ahead of their clash with Real Sociedad, PSG visited Monaco as part of Matchday 24 of Ligue 1. In an engaging match, both Parisians and Monegasques couldn't break the deadlock (0-0).

The French capital club can (and should) credit Gianluigi Donnarumma for his crucial saves in the first half. Despite PSG's improved performance in the second half, they failed to convert their chances. Speaking to Prime Video, Lucas Beraldo, who delivered a standout performance, commented on the encounter against Monaco.

Lucas Beraldo reflects on PSG's draw against Monaco in Ligue 1 opener

"It was a tough match. It's not easy to play here in Monaco. They're a very strong team at home. We tried to secure the win, but we couldn't. We have to keep going; there's still work to be done. What did the coach say at halftime? He adjusted the team with more determination to win this match. I think he motivated us to secure this victory."

PSG's inability to capitalize on their second-half dominance proved to be a source of frustration, as they missed several promising opportunities to break the deadlock. Despite their efforts to secure a victory, the final whistle blew with the scoreline unchanged, leaving PSG with just a single point from the encounter.

Looking ahead, PSG will need to regroup and analyze its performance to address areas of improvement. With upcoming fixtures on the horizon, including a crucial clash against Real Sociedad, they cannot afford to dwell on the missed opportunity against Monaco. The team will be eager to bounce back and deliver a stronger showing in their pursuit of success in both domestic and European competitions.
