Ligue 1 will change the design for the champion's trophy

Ligue 1 introduced its new logo, marking a new phase for the French championship ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 season, where the Ligue 1 logo will undergo a definitive change.

On the social media platform "X," Ligue 1 provides us with a glimpse of this new logo, which is a fusion of the "L" and the "1" in its name, thus forming the new design we will have for the French championship.

This 2023/24 season will be the last in which the "Hexagoal" trophy is awarded to the Ligue 1 champion, as a different design will be presented for the 2024/25 season. Although the new presentation of the trophy is not yet known, it will not have the hexagonal appearance we were accustomed to seeing.

The renovation of the Ligue 1 trophy is a done deal

The marketing and editorial director of the LFP referred to the support that the logo renovation will have. "We couldn't change the logo and not change the trophy," expressed the marketing director of the LFP to Le Parisien.

"As the most successful team in Ligue 1, PSG eagerly anticipates what this new championship design will be, hoping for a swift conquest of this trophy in the upcoming era for Ligue 1 with a completely different identification than what we've been accustomed to in recent years.
