Laurina Fazer and other PSG players reactions to UNFP Awards

As many as five Paris Saint-Germain Feminine players were victorious at the annual UNFP Awards on Sunday night.

Laurina Fazer was once again named Young Player of the Season. At the same time, Grace Geyoro, Kadidiatou Diani, Sakina Karchaoui, and Elisa De Almeida were awarded by being included in the best XI of the 2022/23 season.

The PSG youngster has now won this award two years in a row, and after picking up her award, she spoke with the PSG official website.

"I am very happy to be here this evening and to have won this award for the second consecutive season."

Fazer then mentioned that she wanted to continue with the good things that she had done and show how she's progressed.

To finish, she said, "I am thrilled," and she believes that "the trophy is a great reward for the season I have had."

Almeida and Diani were both named to the Best XI award, along with Geyoro and Karchaoui.

De Almeida commented on the success of the Paris Saint-Germain players winning awards on Sunday. "There are lots of players from the team who have been recognized this evening, so we are very happy."

Almeida added that being chosen for awards by the opposition "makes it even better," and they all have an eye for football as they face each other each week.

Though Diani did not receive her second award for player of the season in a span of a few weeks (Ed: Diani won the D1 Arkema Best Player of the Year award), she was named to the Best XI after an outstanding season.

Her winning statement matched De Almeida's, as she also mentioned the team was "well represented," and that they "feel that is an achievement."

Diani finished her thoughts by adding "we are proud today."

A good night for the PSG Feminine side and also for the men's team, as both Nuno Mendes and
Kylian Mbappe were awarded on their seasons as the most promising and the best player overall respectively.

A total of nine players from both men's and women's PSG teams were triumphant sharing 11 accolades between them.
