Kylian Mbappe ties Edinson Cavani's 200 goals for PSG
Kylian Mbappe scored two goals at Marseille on Sunday in PSG's 0-3 victory in the Classique and tied Edinson Cavani's goalscoring record at PSG with 200 goals through his Parisian career.
It took Mbappe five seasons playing at PSG to tie Cavani's record, and he's now just one goal shy of becoming the absolute greatest goalscorer in the history of Paris Saint-Germain. This season alone, in all competitions, Mbappe has already bagged 29 goals by himself.
The France World Cup winner has led the Ligue 1 scoring table in the last five years. He scored 28 in 2022, 27 in 2021, 18 in 2020, and 33 in 2019, his first year in the capital.
Mbappe also finished two editions of the Coupe de France as the leading goalscorer (7 goals in 2021 and 5 goals in 2022), and he was also the most prolific goalscorer of the 2022 World Cup with eight goals (including a hat-trick in the final).
