Kylian Mbappe, PSG internationals back training on Monday
PSG's man of the minute, Kylian Mbappe, will return to the training grounds on Monday, marking his eagerly anticipated return to the state-of-the-art Poissy facility.
After a week of extended vacation, same as all other PSG international players enjoyed, Mbappe is expected to return to the training ground with the rest of his teammates on Monday, July 17.
Monday's training session will see Mbappe join his fellow international players in the squad as the team prepares for their first friendly of the pre-season next Friday, followed by a tour around Japan commencing on July 22.
With his contract set to expire in June 2024, the Bondy-born sensation has made it unequivocally clear that he will not be extending his stay with PSG past that point, although he plans to play for PSG next season.
PSG made an official statement in which they made clear that they will refuse to lose Mbappe for nothing a year from now, and thus they will sell the Frenchman if he doesn't sign a contract extension for the 2025 season and beyond before a hard deadline set for July 31.
Most of the PSG players and first-team squad (along with some youngsters from the Academy) have already returned to training in the Yvelines with their comeback scheduled for a week ago, on Monday, July 10.
New signings Manuel Ugarte and Lucas Hernandez were already put through their paces on the outskirts of the capital at the new PSG Campus facilities in Poissy.
Meanwhile, Neymar, who underwent surgery on his right ankle in March, made a successful comeback but he's expected to miss all pre-season friendlies scheduled to be played by PSG through the next few weeks.
That said, Neymar should return in time for the start of the season and he will travel with the rest of the team during their pre-season.
