Kylian Mbappe, PSG forward and captain of the French national team finds himself at the center of the footballing world's attention. With just six months remaining on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, the destination of the young prodigy remains a mystery, with no clear indications of his next move.
According to Le Parisien, unless an extraordinary last-minute change occurs, Mbappe will either stay in the French capital or depart as a free agent, with two giants vying for his signature: LaLiga giant Real Madrid and the current Premier League leader, Liverpool.
The newspaper asserts that Liverpool is "the most credible and dangerous candidate" for PSG concerning Mbappe's future. It also notes that the relentless pursuit over nine years by Liverpool's manager, Jurgen Klopp, has not gone unnoticed by the prodigy born in Paris.
Mohamed Salah's contract expires in 2025, and with Saudi Pro League teams interested in the Egyptian international, there are rumors that Liverpool is "dreaming" of luring Mbappe to Anfield as a marquee signing that could help close the gap with Manchester City.
However, Le Parisien suggests that leaving Paris next summer might not be the best option for Mbappe, as it could be challenging to find an environment as suitable as PSG's. Despite this, the paper adds that Real Madrid's strong tactics to convince him to join the Spanish club have little chance of success and could backfire.
Between Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain, two of these clubs will face bitter disappointment by not securing the chance to sign Mbappe next summer, as understood by Le Parisien.
With the transfer market in a state of upheaval and uncertainty looming over the star forward's destination, the footballing world eagerly awaits the outcome of this story, while clubs gear up for a potential bidding war for one of the planet's most coveted talents.
