Paris Saint-Germain's top talents have once again secured nominations for FIFA's The Best awards, reaffirming their status as members of the football elite.

Among the nominees for the title of Best Player of the Year, Kylian Mbappe stands out as a prominent candidate and a favorite to clinch the title.

Last year's runner-up in the award and the World Cup, the French striker is set to lock horns with the reigning champion and former PSG forward, Lionel Messi.

The competition also includes other 10 great players such as Julian Alvarez, Marcelo Brozovic, Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan, Erling Haaland, Rodri, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Victor Osimhen, Declan Rice, and Bernardo Silva.

No, Cristiano Ronaldo is not one of the final 12 nominees for the award, folks.

In the women's category, Paris Saint-Germain's influence extends as Kadidiatou Diani and Amanda Ilestedt received well-deserved nominations.

Both players have departed Paris this summer (Diani to Lyon and Ilestedt to Arsenal), but their contributions to PSG's successful campaign last season allowed them to make the final list.

Their stellar performances during the Women's World Cup last month further solidified their positions as contenders for The Best Player of the Year award.
