PSG resumed training on Tuesday after two days of rest following their victorious trip to Nice last weekend. Three players, including Kylian Mbappe, were not on the training ground of the Camp des Loges. Bad news, considering Paris seem to have finally got things a bit right of late.

Tuesday marked the return of Paris Saint-Germain as the team get ready to face Lens in a pivotal Ligue 1 game next Saturday. Mbappe missed the collective session and trained on his own suffering from a sore hip, according to L'Equipe.

These are far from good news for coach Christophe Galtier, who is also going to miss Nordi Mukiele (done for the season) and Renato Sances (out for a month).

Along with the aforementioned two and Mbappe, none of Marco Verratti, Juan Bernat, or Nuno Mendes trained on Tuesday either.

Those four were also joined by Spaniards Sergio Ramos and Carlos Soler, although the latter two were just taking precautions and should be available for Saturday's clash.

Mukiele will undergo season-ending surgery. Renato Sanches might never again play for PSG

France international Nordi Mukiele had already been nurturing his injury since the start of March, missing multiple games on recent dates.

Mukiele will join teammates Presnel Kimpembe and Neymar on the shelves for the remainder of the season, as he will undergo a season-ending operation on Tuesday in Finland.

According to PSG's medical staff, Mukiele suffered an "upper hamstring injury," and Paris Saint-Germain and the player agreed to go the surgery way in order to "minimize the risk of recurrence" in the future.

PSG will face Lens next Saturday not having any of Mukiele, Sanches, Kimpembe, and Neymar. Juan Bernat also missed last weekend's game against Nice, and the same was the case with Marco Verratti.
