Kadidiatou Diani set to join rivals Olympique Lyon

Paris Saint-Germain might be losing one of their best players as free agent Kadidiatou Diani seems to have chosen a new club for next season.
According to Le Parisien, Diani will play for Olympique Lyon, one of the most decorated Women's teams and not to mention PSG's biggest rivals.
While it was already known information that many clubs were going to attempt a move for the 24-year-old, such as Barcelona and Chelsea, it was thought that Kadidiatou would decide to extend with PSG.
Despite those words, nothing is set in stone at the time of this writing, and even the rumors aren't concrete, and there is still time for PSG to convince the player to continue in the capital,
Diani moving on in career did sound possible when the transfer opened, but due to her words about her aims to win trophies and the Champions League with PSG, it seemed her time wasn't finished with the club.
If reports prove to be accurate and Diani does indeed move to Lyon, in that case, this will be quite a difficult situation for PSG as she has proven on numerous occasions why she's one of their trusted players.
Fans of the club would also be less than impressed with her move, as Lyon are the club's biggest rival and their biggest title challengers in various competitions.
It's also to be noted that the clubs do have a history of exchanging players with each other, such as Sakina Karchaoui, Sara Dabritz, and Sarah Bouhaddi.
The D1Arkema top scorer, who found herself subject to an end-of-season injury, has just made her return to the pitch in a friendly match against Ireland with France.
Diani will also participate in this year's Women's World Cup, where she will attempt to showcase her talent and help France win their first-ever WC title.
Whatever happens with Diani will become much more evident in a few weeks, but for now, it's looking like PSG might have to find a replacement plan.
