Julian Draxler, the 29-year-old German midfielder, has made the final decision to leave PSG in order to join Al-Ahli in Qatar. This move is set to have a significant impact on the PSG transfer window, as the club is expected to receive a nonsensical transfer fee of over €20m.

After weeks of uncertainty and speculation about his future, Draxler has agreed to sign a contract with Al-Ahli that will tie him to the club through June 2025.

This unexpected turn of events comes after Draxler initially rejected an offer from Al-Ahli last Saturday, choosing to stay in Paris due to family reasons. However, he has now decided to reverse his decision and embark on a new chapter in his career.

The news of Draxler's move to Qatar was first reported by football insider Florian Plettenberg.

Draxler is expected to travel to Qatar over the weekend to undergo a medical examination and finalize his contract. It's worth noting that Draxler was under contract at PSG through June 2024.

This transfer represents another significant move for PSG, both in terms of player departures and financial income, something Paris are seemingly always in need of, believe it or not.
