Paris Saint-Germain Feminine Jackie Groenen spoke out on her departure from the English club, Manchester United last year when she decided to join PSG.

The 28-year-old became a player for Manchester United back in the year of 2019. She was one of the club's standout players and looked to have had a good relationship with her former teammates.

The PSG midfielder spoke out on Helden, a Dutch podcast. Groenen had much to say about last summer when she officially left Man Utd after her contract expired and revealed how her exit played out.

"I called the coach (Marc Skinner, Man United's coach) to ask if I could stop by and say goodbye to the team (United), but I wasn't allowed." Jackie's statement on what went down before she started playing for the Parisian club.

Fans who believed Groenen should have been allowed to visit her teammates of three years quickly jump to her defense and express their anger towards Marc Skinner, who seems to be not so loved by the Manchester supporters already.

One comment also said that they "hope she is happier in France." While this has only been her first season with PSG, by the looks of it, Groenen has taken an immense liking to her new surroundings.

Groenen has a three-year contract with PSG and hasn't been any news centering on a potential early exit.

She has been an excellent addition to the midfield, and the club hopes to see an even greater version of Groenen next term.
