Ismael Gharbi wants to leave PSG on loan
Part of the first team for a few months, and a member of the 'elite' youth group, Ismael Gharbi could leave PSG soon, or at least that is the intention of the young attacker.
Last January Ismael Gharbi was close to leaving on loan to OGC Nice, but there was a delay in sending certain documents that prevented the talented footballer from leaving the French capital, as reported by Le Parisien. Apparently, the player's wish has not changed.
As confirmed by sources contacted by PSG Post, Ismael Gharbi wants to leave PSG this summer, on loan. The intention of the young attacker, for the moment, is not to leave Paris Saint-Germain definitively, but to leave temporarily in search of playing time.
Gharbi, together with Ethan Mbappe, is one of the only youngsters who continue to train with the group available to Luis Enrique. Unlike talents like Noah Lemina, the 19-year-old striker remained in the first-team squad following PSG's pre-season tour in Asia.
At the moment the Parisian board has not received a serious offer to give up the jewel of its youth academy, but Gharbi has been clear with the club; he needs to accumulate playing time to develop satisfactorily, before thinking about returning to Paris in search of establishing himself as a key player. PSG itself, in its own way, has also been clear with the player after finalizing the signings of Marco Asensio, Ousmane Dembele, Goncalo Ramos, Kang-In Lee, as well as having Randal Kolo Muani, and Bradley Barcola in their sights.
The next ten days should be key to the short-term future for Ismael Gharbi, whether that means staying put in Paris or getting to experience a new European city on his way out of the capital.
