Is PSG still interested in signing FC Barcelona superstar?
By Oscar Cortes
With the possible departure of Kylian Mbappe, PSG continues to seek to form the perfect team for the next season. At the same time, everything points to several signings in the upcoming summer market in June.
Paris Saint-Germain has a busy schedule for the remainder of the season. Ligue 1, the Champions League, and the French Cup are the three competitions where the Parisians remain active and will seek to conquer the treble for the first time in their history. However, this also leads to the club's administrative and sporting management thinking long-term.
PSG will not seek to sign Frenkie De Jong at the end of the season
Several days ago, following the PSG vs Barcelona match in the Champions League, it was claimed that the Parisians had a great interest in signing Frenkie De Jong. However, the rumor seems to be crumbling also due to the Parisian victory and the low level shown by the Dutchman, as reported by Sport.
Sport also commented that while there was interest on the part of the Parisians, it simply remained as such. PSG will not make any offers for the Dutchman this summer.
A promising future for the Parisians
However, rumors persist about what PSG's strategic plan will be and whether they will go all out to spend several million on a forward or continue to build from their youth academy, including the possible return of Xavi Simons to the club. But PSG has shown that it has a great future without Kylian Mbappe.
