Spain and Argentina are Euro and Copa America champions respectively after the culmination of both tournaments two weeks ago. Both tournaments will hurt top clubs around Europe this upcoming season.

PSG will be affected negatively as players from France and Spain went deep into the Euros. Here at PSG Post, we delve into how the Copa America and Euros will impact Les Parisans season.

1. Players could get injured easily

Players who went deep into the Euros and Copa America will miss out on pre-season and also run the risk of picking up a fatigue-related injury. Players are at risk of picking up such injuries since they have been playing for a long time without having a break.

In PSG's instance Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembele, Warren Zaire Emery, Randal Kolo Muani, and Fabian Ruiz are in for a long season if they don't get the necessary break during the campaign. Zaire Emery's case is strange as he wasn't featured during the Euros.

2. How will the French players respond to the disappointing Euros

Several PSG players were part of the France squad that severely underwhelmed at this summers Euros. The likes of Kolo Muani, Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele were prominent figures for Diider Deschamps side in Germany.

This is far from ideal as they may start the season low on confidence, affecting how they perform in the upcoming season. Players not operating at 100 percent is the last thing PSG needs especially if they come against Real Madrid or Man City in the Champions League.
