PSG is currently conducting a study on who could succeed Kylian Mbappe at the club. While the possible departure of the Parisian star is looming closer and closer, the Parisian club does not want to enter the next season without having a top-level striker who ensures them a positive present and future.
A worthy successor to Mbappe's career at PSG?
With an impressive track record at his young age, Lamine Yamal, at 16, has earned praise from the football world, emerging as the standout revelation for FC Barcelona this season with stellar performances.
The French outlet Le Parisien has stated that PSG will initiate negotiations for Lamine Yamal, as the player seems open to a potential departure from the Spanish club.
However, the player currently has a release clause of one billion euros. Nevertheless, discussions could start in Paris with an offer of 200 million euros to kick off feasible negotiations with the Spanish club.
Lamine Yamal's season has been fantastic for his young age. In the current season, he has participated in 44 matches with the Spanish club, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists at just 16 years old.
Despite Barcelona's recent struggles, including their elimination from the Champions League by PSG and a 3-2 loss to Real Madrid in the Spanish classic, rumors about his departure continue to escalate.
The season is still on for the Parisians
For PSG, this could be a very positive option for the club's future, as this player could create a great atmosphere in Paris due to his connection with Luis Enrique and his exceptional qualities, all at just 16 years old.
However, the road to the transfer market still has a long way to go, and PSG is focused on the current season, where the possibility of winning everything is at stake.
