The French Football Federation held the draw of the French Cup Round of 16 games on Sunday with all matchups ahead scheduled for Feb. 7/8. PSG left the Federation waiting facing Pays de Cassel on a delayed Monday game but ended up defeating the sixth-division tier 0-7 on the road, advancing to the R16.

As many as 11 of the 14 Ligue 1 teams that took part in the Round of 32 defeated their rivals and entered the draw for the Round of 16 matchups. There will also be four teams from the second division, along with Vierzon FC from the National 2.

As far as the matchups go, there will be eight clashes of which five will feature a Ligue 1 team on each side. On the other hand, there will be just one matchup between lower-division sides. The remaining two matchups will pit a Ligue 1 team against a Ligue 1 squad.

PSG will play one more Classique against OM in the French Cup Round of 16

After headlining the Round of 32 facing Rennes, OM advanced and will now face PSG in a fresh take on the French Le Classique. The matchup will be decided through February, with their game taking place next month, in Marseille.

OM and PSG have already met in the Ligue 1 this season. Back in October, PSG won Le Classique by a tiny margin, 1-0 against OM playing in the capital at the Parc des Princes.

Entering next weekend, PSG lead the Ligue 1 with 47 points through 19 matches while OM rank third with 42 points in the same number of games. Their next league game is scheduled for Feb. 26 while the Cup matchup will take place earlier, on Feb. 8.
