The France national team will have to wait to know their three group-stage opponents for the EURO 2024 next summer.
Les Bleus were drawn in Group D along with Austria, the Netherlands, and an unknown team that will need to win the pre-tournament play-offs before June.
France was part of Pot 1 as one of the best teams in the draw. In the last European championship, France drew Portugal, Germany, and Hungary. This upcoming summer things are looking much easier as France will have to go against the Netherlands but also lesser nations such as Austria and the winner of the play-off out of Poland, Wales, Finland, and Estonia.
Out of the 24 participating nations, the three spots belonging to the play-off winners will be known in March when that knockout stage will be played in the host nation Germany before the tournament proper.
