France coach reaffirms his confidence in PSG's €90 million signing
Randal Kolo Muani, who has been struggling since his move to PSG, may find himself in the starting lineup for the French national team alongside Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud.
Following a disappointing performance against Germany, Didier Deschamps is contemplating changes to the French team's lineup. Deschamps acknowledges the potential of Kolo Muani, who was signed by PSG for €90 million last summer, and hints at his possible inclusion in the starting XI.
The forward could have the opportunity to start the match against Chile this Tuesday evening. This presents him with a chance to regain his form after a subdued first half of the season with his club.
"Randal, like all the players, either starts or doesn't start. I know what he is capable of. There are others like Upamecano, who have had less favorable moments (...) Other players can play in the number 9 position. I have six substitutions, and I will make them tomorrow to distribute the playing time," stated Didier Deschamps in an interview with La Chaine L'Equipe (h/t Le10Sport).

Deschamps intends to shuffle the lineup for the upcoming match against Chile, focusing on rotating the squad and providing playing time to various players.
Despite a challenging start at PSG due to constant criticism, Randal Kolo Muani actually has very good stats considering the minutes he plays with the team. And in recent statements to GQ, the French footballer declared that over time people will recognize that the price paid for his signing was not expensive.
