PSG news
Les Parisens have a difficult task this Tuesday as they look to overturn a 2-3 deficit from the first leg in France. This is unarguably the biggest game of their season as this is the trophy that they have wanted the most under Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Luis Enrique's side maneuvered their way through a tricky group before easing past Real Sociedad in the last 16. Barcelona away could prove to be the most difficult game so far in the Champions League given the pressure that will be on PSG to turn the tie around.
Nordi Mukiele is in a race against time to feature as he is battling a head injury. The French right-back is unlikely to start with Achraf Hakimi returning from suspension.
FC Barcelona news
Xavi's side is looking to correct the wrongs of the last two Champions League campaigns in which they failed to progress beyond the group stage.
This campaign they are doing exactly that as they have given themselves a great chance of advancing to the semi-finals.
The job is far from done for Barcelona as PSG has players who can take any game by the scruff of the neck. The Spanish giants will also be without Gavi and Alejandro Balde through long-term injuries and Christensen and Sergi Roberto (suspension).
Predicted FC Barcelona vs PSG lineups
- FC Barcelona's possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsi, Cancelo; Pedri, Gundogan, F de Jong; Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha.
- Paris Saint-Germain's possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Beraldo, Hernandez; Zaire-Emery, Ruiz, Vitinha; Dembele, Ramos, Mbappe.
Expect a very open game as PSG know they need to score at least twice to give themselves a good chance of progressing. Barcelona clashes against PSG rarely disappoint and this second leg will not be any different given the clear path that both teams have to the final.
