According to L'Equipe, Crystal Palace intends to compete with Eintracht Frankfurt for the signing of PSG striker Hugo Ekitike.

PSG is still fighting for the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani. The Rouge et Bleu want to bring the Bondy native to the Parc des Princes using Hugo Ekitike as a bargaining chip in the deal, but the latter has turned down two contract offers from the Bundesliga club to date.

In Frankfurt, Hugo Ekitike would join former PSG Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe, and potentially could also share a dressing room with his still teammate Timothee Pembele, who has sparked interest from the Bundesliga resident side.

Should Ekitike not land in Germany, Crystal Palace and other Premier League clubs would like to host the attacker, who appears to be a total discard from PSG. West Ham and Newcastle have also shown interest in the 21-year-old previously. Palace wants to sign the French striker on loan with an option to buy. The player, in fact, would be interested in playing in the Premier League.

The Parisians' stance on sending the young attacker to the Premier League on loan with an option to buy is unknown, but a deal could be finalized if the necessary conditions are met. As it stands, it looks like PSG still wants to use Ekitike in a trade to sign Kolo Muani before the transfer window ends.
