According to information reported by Le Parisien ahead of the weekend, Germany international and PSG midfielder Julian Draxler is on the radar of Premier League side Crystal Palace.
PSG are expected to sell the returning loanee, as he's out of Luis Enrique's plans for the season.
LP, quoting some sources reaching out to them, says that those persons close to the club and the player have "corroborated" the insights revealed earlier by RMC Sport, shedding light on the interest of English outfit Crystal Palace in the disgruntled player.
Notably, communication between Crystal Palace and PSG "has been initiated," according to the French newspaper, though "a concrete offer" from the Premier League contender in southern London "remains pending."
The 29-year-old Draxler spent last season on loan at Benfica. Even though he was one of the members of the German team that conquered the 2014 World Cup, Draxler has been on a steady decline since then and he's now closer to retirement than playing top-level football.
