PSG news

The newly crowned French champions played Edin Terzic's side in the group stage. They drew 1-1 at Signal Iduna Park and won 2-0 when they hosted the German outfit in Parc des Princes.

Despite this results against Newcastle and AC Milan meant they finished behind Dortmund in the group standings. Luis Enrique's side then knocked out Real Sociedad and Barcelona in the last 16 and quarter-finals respectively.

Les Parisens don't have any notable starters out with Presnel Kimpembe, Layvin Kurzawa and backup goalkeeper Sergio Rico the only names on the treatment table.

Borussia Dortmund's task on Wednesday has been made more difficult with injuries to Ramy Bensebaini and Sebastian as well as late fitness tests for Ian Maatsen, Dony Malen, and Mats Hummels.

Predicted Dortmund vs PSG lineups

  • Borussia Dortmund: Kobel; Ryerson, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Maatsen; Sabitzer, Can; Adeyemi, Brandt, Sancho; Fullkrug.
  • PSG: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Danilo, Hernandez; Vitinha, Zaire-Emery; Dembele, Asensio, Barcola; Mbappe.

This rematch is huge for both sides for different reasons. Borussia Dortmund's incentive to get to the final is a potential final rematch against fellow German giants Bayern Munich.

Whilst PSG's resides from Kylian Mbappe being involved in a final against his potential future suitors Real Madrid.
