Paris Saint-Germain were comfortable winners of a Saturday afternoon friendly against PSV, finishing the game 3-0.

Who started?

Formation 3-5-2

GK - Katarzyna Kiedrzyenk

Defenders - Calligaris, Samoura, Le Guilly

Midfielders - Payne, Albert, Elimbi, Folquet, Vitoria

Forwards - Traore, Baltimore (C)

Score: 3-0

After a 3-1 defeat to Le Havre a few days earlier, a much-improved performance was produced by PSG, which lead to a satisfying result.

A brace for Sandy Baltimore and a penalty from Magnaba Folquet gave PSG a massive advantage before going into half-time. The second half saw no further goals, therefore ending 3-0 for the Parisiennes.

Despite missing valuable members of the squad, PSG still had Sandy Baltimore to get the job done and five of their summer recruits, Vitoria, Payne, Samoura, Calligaris, and Kiedrzynek, to feature.

PSG have one more remaining friendly to complete, which will be against fellow French side, Montpellier, before heading into the AMOS cup, where they have been paired up with Liverpool.

Gerard Precheur and Viola Calligaris on PSG's win

After the 3-0 win on Saturday afternoon, PSG manager Gerard Precheur spoke with the PSG official website to share his thoughts on his team's display.

"Today's match was interesting. It was a very good first half, with a lot of pace for a pre-season game, which is what we asked of them (the players), but the second half was a little tougher, which is to be expected at this stage of the season."

Prechuer also gave a few words on his new players, "The new recruits have a great attitude and are very competitive. After coming back from a competition like the World Cup, it's not always easy to come back to a club."

Another thing that was mentioned was Precheur's playing style, and said that he believes " it's important to be able to change styles" and that he has "the squad that allows system changes, which is worth considering."

Viola Calligaris, the new right-back who played her first game as a PSG player, also gave a talk on the PSG official website.

"It was important for everyone that we won. I think we started well; we defended well with each other. It's only the beginning, so we have to keep going."

Calligaris contributed to Prechuer's views on different playing systems and added, "It's good to play with two systems; I think it's important to stay flexible for the season."

PSG play their final friendly against Montpellier on the 25th, August.
