Ayman Kari signs his first professional contract with PSG
Born in November of 2004, Ayman Kari signed his first professional contract with PSG at the age of 18 years old on Thursday, Jan. 5. The midfielder, born in Ivry-sur-Seine (Paris, FR), will spend the next two seasons at least at Paris Saint-Germain with his first deal running until June 2025.
The French U17 and U19 international first joined Paris Saint-Germain all the way back in 2015 aged 11 when he entered the club's Pre-Youth Academy. He finally joined the true PSG Academy for youngsters two years after that, in 2017.
That saw Kari sign an amateur deal spanning until 2024, which he's now extended on professional terms until the start of the summer of 2025.
Playing for PSG U19 from the 2021-22 season on, Kari has already bagged appearances in both the Championnat National U19 and the UEFA Youth League with the Parisian club's underage teams.
Although still very young, Kari's resume is starting to grow at a staggering pace with the midfielder having been named Titi d'Or in 2021 as the best youth prospect in PSG's Academy. He earned the accolade overtaking players such as first-teamer Ismael Gharbi or PSV-loanee Xavi Simons.

Kari has already played for France's underage international teams featuring for France U18 (three games) back in 2021, and France U19 (three games) in the 2022 calendar year. He could still opt to represent Comoros and Madagascar at the senior level, though.
In five games of UEFA Youth League play this season, Kari has accrued 426 minutes (of a possible 450, excluding added time) of playing time in which he has assisted three goals while scoring none.
Ayman Kari is one of the options available for coach Christophe Galtier weekly, albeit the youngster is only part of the deepest part of the bench these days. That's also the case with another titi-turned-professional of late, Ilyes Housni.
Barring an odd appearance in a cup game such as Friday's against Chateauroux, Kari is still a year or two away from starting to get a prominent role on the first team of PSG.
