Three major European clubs are eyeing a move for Ashley Lawrence and will reportedly try to sign her from PSG next summer.

The Paris Saint-Germain full-back's contract expires this coming July, and there isn't any news about the club wanting to offer Lawrence a new contract as of now.

According to a recent tweet by ATA Football, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona will all attempt to sign Lawrence in the next transfer window. All three clubs have many major names on their rosters and are hoping to add another one to them.

If PSG decide to offer the Canadian a contract to extend her time in the French capital is yet to be seen. However, an extension should be considered likely judging by her journey with the Parisian side to date. It's fair to expect PSG to offer her a new deal as they might be keen to keep one of their star names for a few more seasons.

During her time with the club, she won the First Division title in 2021, which was the club's first time winning the League. She's also helped bring home two Coupe De France trophies.

She's been a key part of PSG's squad, played a crucial role in her defensive position, and greatly showed off her passion for the Red and Blue shirt.

But maybe the Olympic gold winner would like to have a new journey in a new club and try different experiences and leagues away from France, especially since Paris Saint-Germain is the only European club she's played for during her successful career.

Inevitably, fans of the club wouldn't want her to move on as she's quite loved by fans, but supporters of the clubs trying to pursue her most definitely want her to join the trying clubs and have expressed their desire of having Ashley Lawrence in their favorite teams.

Chelsea and Bayern would be more likely to be the destination for Lawrence if she were to leave Paris, and though Barcelona is in the race too, the English and German clubs seem to have more of a chance of signing her in the next few months, according to ATA Football.

It is said that Chelsea players Pernille Harder and Magdalena Eriksson have signed to play with Bayern next season. This might add to Chelsea's willingness not to lose more players to the German giants.

It must be noted that Lawrence has played against all three of her potential suitors in the last three seasons in the UEFA Women's Champions League. Barcelona in the 2021 semi-finals, Bayern in the 2022 quarter-finals, and Chelsea in the 2023 season's group stage.

Despite all speculations, nothing has been decided as of now. Lawrence and PSG will only focus on the final two matchdays of the D1 League, where they are still in contention to claim the title.

Lawrence isn't the club's only player with a contract expiring as eight of her fellow teammates also have uncertain futures at PSG at this point in time.

Where Ashley will be playing next season will be decided in the not-too-distant future, though, with a final decision arriving no later than next month.
