Paris Saint-Germain have announced that young goalkeeper Alice Pinguet has joined fellow French club Dijon attaching herself to them for the next two seasons.

The 21-year-old goalie signed her first professional contract with PSG back in 2020. Since then, Pinguet has been on loan to Le Havre and then last season with GPSO 92 ISSY, making 15 appearances for them.

Pinguet currently plays for the French U20 team, where she has claimed three appearances for the squad so far.

PSG selling this player is probably the correct decision. Purely down to the fact she's been on loan multiple times and that, with high probability, she wouldn't have been a significant player for PSG anytime soon. She can gain the experience full-time now like she was doing during her days away on loan.

She now moves on to Dijon, who finished 10th out of 12 in the D1 Arkema last term and will hope to showcase her talent with her new club.

Pinguet took to her personal social media page and wrote, "Thank you, Paris! After spending five seasons full of learning and emotions, the time for me to move on has come. I've grown, and I'm proud to have worn the Paris Saint-Germain jersey and the Issy jersey last season."

We wish Pinguet the best of luck with her new journey!
