AC Milan interested in signing a PSG striker

While Kylian Mbappe is usually in the spotlight when it comes to PSG news, Hugo Ekitike hasn't quite settled his future either, having recently sparked interest from a giant from Italy.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport and Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan has turned Hugo Ekitike into a serious option to reinforce their attack. The Italian side wants to find out if PSG could open up to a loan without the obligation to buy.

Hugo Ekitike is a key player at the bottom of PSG's transfer window. After a difficult year in Paris, the 21-year-old striker could pack his bags in the coming days and has a long list of suitors. In negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt for Randal Kolo Muani, PSG hopes to include his pupil in the transaction to lower the price demanded by the German club.

In England, West Ham has recently joined this case and is inclined to offer PSG an easily achievable loan-purchase option. Another candidate also pushing to attract Hugo Ekitike is AC Milan.

The Lombard club wants to sign a striker and is interested in the Frenchman, confirms Gazzetta dello Sport. However, the team led by Stefano Pioli would only like to offer a loan with no purchase obligation. A condition that most likely does not interest PSG.

Transfer market specialist Gianluca Di Marzio adds that AC Milan would also like to discuss a salary split with PSG. The way things are, it seems difficult for the Parisian club to prefer this option.
