A Spanish club is interested in signing Carlos Soler
Going through great difficulties in his first season under the bright lights of Paris playing at PSG, Carlos Soler seems to maintain a good market value and he is still young enough to generate interest around world football.
According to the latest information emerging from across the media, he might actually have a suitor from Spain that is reportedly very attentive to the situation of the Spaniard in the French capital and what the future might bring to him.
Although Soler has acceptable numbers with 6 goals in 31 appearances at PSG this season, being used as a striker most of the time when in fact his natural position is on the midfield seems to be hurting Carlos Soler more than not.
It's obvious to see how Soler has shined more than anything for his lack of impact on the pitch than his actual production in the role Christophe Galtier has used him this year.
For this reason, and given that the summer transfer window will soon open its doors, the time may soon come for PSG to come up with a decision on whether it is worth extending the time of the Spaniard at the Parc des Princes or if the club would be better selling him.
Atletico Madrid is interested in signing Carlos Soler
Rumors from Spain announced that Luis Campos would have the idea of sending the former Valencia footballer on the transfer list.
Soler would be fine with leaving Paris, judging by the latest leaks. However, in order to get some of the money they invested in acquiring Soler last summer as soon as possible and before his value gets down, PSG think this is the proper moment to cash in before it's too late.
Spanish newspaper OK Diario reported that Atletico Madrid could be interested in the arrival of the Spain international.
Diego Simeone, who already tried to sign Soler last summer, seemingly appreciates his profile and would like Soler to bolster his team's midfield.
We'll need to wait a few weeks to know if PSG ends up deciding to sell the Spaniard, and if that's the case then what will be the sale price, and whether or not Atletico Madrid are willing to pay that amount to extract the Soler from Paris.
