With the club season over, the focus heads over to international football. And for multiple members of PSG Feminine, the upcoming World Cup features prominently on their short-term horizon.

Herve Renard, the current manager of France Feminine, has chosen his 26-player preliminary squad, and eight Paris Saint-Germain players have their names written on that list.

France Preliminary Squad for the 2023 World Cup

GK: Constance Picaud, Pauline Peyraud-Magin, Solene Durand, Mylene Chavas

DEF: Sakina Karchaoui, Elisa De Almeida, Estelle Cascarino,
Wendie Renard, Eve Perisset, Aissatou Tounkara, Selma Bacha, Maelle Lakrar

MID: Grace Geyoro, Oriane Jean-Francois, Laurina Fazer, Amandine Henry, Amel Majri, Kenza Dali, Sandie Toletti, Lea le Garrec,

FWD: Kadidiatou Diani, Eugene Le Sommer, Viviane Asseyi, Clara Mateo, Naomie Fellier, Vicki Becho

Estelle Cascarino, currently on loan at Manchester United, can also be considered a PSG player.

Sadly, Marie-Antoinette Katoto will once again miss out on the World Cup, this time due to her one-year, season-ending ACL injury.

Sandy Baltimore is also missing from this list of players, although in her case the reason is unknown.

Only a few names have been announced for now in terms of other countries, but as for the Netherlands, they have named Lieke Martens as one of their players, while Canada have chosen now-former PSG player Ashley Lawrence.

The rest of the players who will be called upon and take center stage when the World Cup kicks off in July will soon be revealed.

As for now, it's a great feeling to see many Paris Saint-Germain players called for the upcoming WC'23!
