The UEFA Champions League quarter-final has presented us with many mouth-watering matchups, one of which is PSG vs. FC Barcelona. Here at PSG Post, we evaluate why the French champions can overcome Xavi's side.

1. Barcelona have struggled against top European teams

Xavi's side has struggled in recent years against top teams. Last season they could not muster a win over two legs versus Manchester United in the last 32 of the Europa League. They also struggled to impose themselves in a Champions League group containing Inter and Bayern Munich failing to win any of the two games against the two sides.

To make matters worse they failed to even draw against Bayern when they faced them in the 21/22 season. This is rather remarkable for a club with Barcelona's European pedigree. The fact that arch-rivals Real Madrid have won four Champions League since their last triumph in 2015 only adds insult to injury.
