The international break drew to a close this Wednesday. While some European nations were busy securing the last spots for the European Championships others played friendlies against nations from other continents aside from their own.

This last international break was particularly important for South American nations as they got a rare opportunity to test themselves against European nations before the Copa America this summer. The upcoming Copa America may feature three PSG players who will look to take the tournament by storm.

1. Marquinhos

We start the list with a player who has been a pivotal part of the PSG project since joining the club in the 2013 summer transfer window from Roma in Marquinhos. The 29-year-old was seen as the long-term heir to Thiago Silva who joined Chelsea in August 2020.

Despite having a dip in performance levels this season Marquinhos should still play a crucial role in Brazil's Copa America campaign alongside one of Eder Militao or Gabriel. He should not take his place in the starting eleven for granted given how well Miltao and Gabriel have done this season.
