Paris Saint-Germain drop to second place
Despite an unbeaten start this season, Paris is now sitting at the second position of the Ligue 1 McDonald's, with AS Monaco taking hold of the top spot following an impressive start under Adi Hutter.
The reigning Champions might have found a worthy challenger for the Ligue 1 title with Monaco now sitting at the top of the standings two points ahead of Paris Saint-Germain after seven games played.
It now seems sure that there will be a three-horse race for the title, including rival Olympique de Marseille. OM sits at the 3rd spot, three points behind PSG and five behind Monaco.
Up next, Paris Saint-Germain will host Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes following the International break on October 19th.
