3 main talking points from PSG's 1-1 away draw against OGC Nice

Paris Saint-Germain and OGC Nice shared points following a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Riviera for MD7 of the Ligue 1 McDonald's on Sunday night. The result meant that PSG now sits in the second spot two points behind AS Monaco.

Marquinhos - Pacho, a good association

This season, William Pacho joined Paris from Eintracht Frankfurt to form a new centre-back association with club captain Marquinhos. So far it is working, despite the poor collective performance against Arsenal, the partnership between Pacho and Marquinhos has proved fruitful so far with multiple good performances from the Ecuadorian.

On multiple occasions, the pair has had to deal with Nice's numerous counterattacks during the first half and came on top of their contests. Pacho is also the outfield player with the most minutes this season, a sign of Luis Enrique's trust in the 22-year-old.

This pair still needs to be further tested with more Champions League games but it sure seems that Paris found their centre-back pair for the next couple of seasons.
