Football fans around the world are in for an exciting summer which will include both the Euros and Copa America.

The Copa America will be exciting for several reasons one of which is fans can't wait to see how Argentina perform in their first tournament since winning the World Cup in Qatar. Another rationale is that players can come out of the tournament with their reputation enhanced.

Here at PSG Post we examine two PSG players whose stock could rise after the Copa America.

2 PSG players whose stock could rise after Copa America

1. Lucas Beraldo

We start off the list with a player who joined the club in the January transfer window. Lucas Beraldo joined the French champions from Sao Paolo and has adjusted quite quickly to European football considering how different South American football is in comparison.

His performances for PSG were sufficient enough for the Brazil coach to award him his first international cap in March. The young centre back is seen as the heir to Marquinhos as he is much younger and possesses some of the same qualities. Despite having a good season last campaign there were some games where he underwhelmed such as his first Le Classique in which he got sent off.

2. Manuel Ugarte

The second player on the list also joined the club recently. Manuel Ugarte signed last summer window from Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon as a replacement for Marco Verratti.

The Uruguayan midfielder found game time hard to come by near the end of the season for PSG as Luis Enrique preferred Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz. If he performs well in the Copa America and helps lead Uruguay to glory then he will go up in people's estimations.
