PLAYER RATINGS | PSG 5-4 Bayern Munich: PSG edge past Bayern in nine-goal thriller

Thanks to braces from Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Paris narrowly beat Bayern Munich.

Paris secured a narrow 5-4 against Bayern Munich following a thrilling contest, set to remained etched in football fans memories. Both teams delivered great games and managed to break defences leaving the door completely open ahead of the second-leg next week in Munich.

Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored braces to help their team win and will definitely be important once again next week. Here are the players ratings as Paris came out on top in nine-goal thriller.

6 - Matvey Safonov

The Russian was put to the test a lot in this game.

6.5 - Achraf Hakimi

The Moroccan had good game. While he was much solicited defensively he still managed to go forward and deliver an assist. He came off the pitch with an apparent hamstring injury.

6.5 - Marquinhos

The Brazilian had a lot to do today, facing Luis Diaz many times on the right flank. Overall, he did a really good job containing the Columbian.

6 - Willian Pacho

The Ecuadorian had a good game, but conceded a penalty in the first half, which was transformed by Kane to open the score for Munich.

6.5 - Nuno Mendes

The Portuguese had a tremendous task as PSG faced Bayern Munich at home in the first-leg: stop or slow down Michael Olise. While his task was not succesfully completed, the left-back held his own against the France international winger. He was not so involved offensively because of that as well and was subbed off after 84 minutes by Lucas Hernandez due to cramps.

7- Vitinha

In his return from injury, the Portuguese was not the brightest light in midfield for his team against the Bavarians but he still had a top-level performance in the victory of his team.

7 - Joao Neves

A complete performance from the Portugues international. He was very involved defensively for his team when Munich had the upper hands and scored a great header to give the lead to his team in the first half.

6.5 - Warren Zaire-Emery

The France international had a very good game against Munich, he was subbed off at the 64th minutes for Fabian Ruiz.

7 - Désiré Doué

He delivered two assists in the victory of his team against Bayern Munich and had a very good game. He was replaced by Bradley Barcola after 70 minutes.

8 - Ousmane Dembélé

The Frenchman delivered an incredible game, stepping up at the end of the first half to score from the spot, before scoring a remarkable goal from outside the box that left Neuer motionless. He was very dangerous for the visitors and held high his Ballon d'Or status.

9 - Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

The Georgian was once again quite exceptionnal in this game. He was a constant threat for Stanisic and Bayern Munich. He ended the game with a brace but could have scored many more goals if it wasn't for Neuer and Upamecano. He will definitely be a key factor again in the second-leg. He was replaced by Senny Mayulu after 84 minutes.
