Ousmane Dembélé scored a late winner to secure the win over Monaco in the Trophée des Champions at the Stadium 974 in Doha.

Paris Saint-Germain came out victorious of their Trophée des Champions clash against Monaco 1-0 thanks to a late goal scored by Ousmane Dembélé as PSG secured their first title of the season and perfectly start the second part of their season.

The Match

In an amazing fixture, between two of the best Ligue 1 McDonald's team, Paris faced Monaco in Doha, just a few weeks after their last encounter that saw Paris coming out victorious 4-2 at the Stade Louis II. In a game mainly dominated by Luis Enrique's men, Phillip Kohn was ceratinly Monaco's best player, saving his side on numerous occasion. However, Adi Hutter's side stayed dangerous through counterattacks in the contest between two well organised squad. As the game neared his ending with a nervy penalty shootout incoming, Ousmane Dembélé scored his ninth goal of the season to secure PSG's the first title this season.

7 - Gianluigi Donnarumma

The Italian international made his return following his gruesome injury sustained against the same Monaco side three weeks ago and delivered a really solid performance making important saves when his side needed it. He even found himself lucky when Vanderson's close range attempt ended on his post.

Once again Pacho deliverd a complete performance against Monaco, the young Monaco player Ilenikhena had a nightmare in his duel with the Ecuadorian who's proving to be one of the best investments made by the club in recent years.

7- Marquinhos

Good perfomance from the captain, his partnership with Pacho is very fruitful as the team remains unbeaten in the league and just won its first title this season. The Brazilian tied his former teammate Marco Verrati as the player having won the competition the most in history.

6- Nuno Mendes

Good performance from the Portugal international who had a lot to do facing Minamino tonight.

6.5 - Achraf Hakimi

As usual, Hakimi had a very good game against Monaco, the Morocco international was very dangerous on his right wing and even came close from opening the score but was denied by a fantastic save from Monaco's goalkeeper.

Solid performance from Vitinha.

7 - Warren Zaire-Emery

Zaire-Emery dedelivered one of his best perfomance of the season tonight. Senny Mayulu took his place on the pitch at the 88th minute.

6- Joao Neves

Good performance from the Portuguese. He was replaced by Fabian Ruiz at the 67th minute.

8-Désiré Doué

Désiré Doué is just in fantastic form at the moment he was one of the most dangerous player for Paris in the Trophée des Champions, the former Rennes player won the first title of his career and could see others coming his way if he keeps playing that way. He was replaced by Gonçalo Ramos at the 72nd minute.

8.5 Ousmane Dembélé

The France international was just sensational tonight. Outside of his goal, the player replaced as a false nine for the evening was implicated in almost every big chances of his team and provided the winning goal with a cold finish.

The South Korean had a great start in this game but faded away as the game went on. He was substituted for Bradley Barcola at the 67th minute.
