PLAYER RATINGS | Bayern Munich 1-1 PSG: Paris through to the Champions League final

After a remarkable defensive performance, the Parisians will play a second consecutive Champions League final against Arsenal.

The Parisians have secured back-to-back Champions League finals after their 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich. The European Champions will have a chance to keep their crown against Arsenal in Budapest on May 30th.

Luis Enrique and his team defeated the Bavarians 6-5 on aggregate sending the club to their third Champions League final, all coming in the last six years.

7.5 - Matvey Safonov

The Russian goalkeeper was perfect in this game. He had to face only four shots on target and dealt with all of them remarkably well. The whole PSG defence was fantastic tonight and he was in the heart of it.

7.5 - Warren Zaire-Emery

He stepped up once again to replace an injured Hakimi and did a very good job to contain Luis Diaz alongside Marquinhos.

8.5 - Marquinhos

The Brazilian defender delivered an outstanding game in the second-leg. Him and his teammates formed an almost impenatrable wall for the Bayern Munich's attakers who were left without solutions for a big portion of the game. He is the heart of this team and proved it once again tonight.

8 - Willian Pacho

His partnership with Marquinhos was simply amazing once again on the biggest stage.

7.5 - Nuno Mendes

The Portuguese was set for a really tough challenge when facing Olise for the second time in a week. He was in tremendous difficulty in the first half, quickly being shown a yellow card. Nonetheless, he managed to slow him down with the help of Fabian Ruiz. He was subbed off after 85 minutes for Senny Mayulu.

The Portuguese was like most of his teammates relentless on the pitch against the Bavarians in the second-leg.

8 - Fabian Ruiz

The Spaniard made his first start in the Champions League since his injury and delivered a remarkable performance in all aspect of the game. He came to Nuno Mendes' rescue many times in the first half when he faced Olise and was at the creation of the opener. He played 76 minutes and was replaced by Lucas Beraldo.

7 - Désiré Doué

The Frenchman spent most of his time defending in this game but also proved very dangerous when breaking forward. He was replaced by Lucas Hernandez after 76 minutes.

8 - Ousmane Dembélé

The Frenchman opened the score after just three minutes and gave a crucial two-goal advantage to his team. He proved once again how important he could be for this club. He was replaced after 65 minutes by Bradley Barcola

9 - Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

The Georgian is definitely the man of the match and the most decisive players in both legs. He has been decisive in every knockout games played by his team this season.
