Paris Saint-Germain edged past Aston Villa to reach the Champions League semi-final on aggregate despite their 3-2 loss at Villa Park (5-4).
Luis Enrique's side started the game perfectly as Achraf Hakimi fired his side ahead inside 11 minute following Martinez's mistake. Nuno Mendes then scored his side's second goal of the night, which seemed to seal the tie for Paris. However, Tielemans cut the hosts' deficit just before halftime.
The second half then saw Unai Emery's team score two goals through McGinn (54') and Konsa (57') to complete Villa's comeback on the night. Nonetheless, it was not enough as Donnarumma denied many chances from the hosts to qualify his side to the next round.

8.5 - Gianluigi Donnarumma
Undoubtedly the hero of the night. Paris would have certainly suffered another Champions League "Remontada" if it wasn't for the Italian goalkeeper. Villa came back with strong in the second half and despite conceding three goals, he denied many clear cut chances from Aston Villa.
6.5 - Achraf Hakimi
The Morocco international put up a top performance in the first half, scoring the opener and creating several chances down his right flank, but his second half was very difficult as the rest of his teammates.
7 - Pacho
He suffered in the second half as his teammates but saved many difficult situation and produced a goal line clearance on Maatsen's effort that would have sent the game to extra time.
6.5 - Marquinhos
Good performance from the captain on his return from suspension, he played very well in the first half winning many battles against Villa's forward.
7 - Nuno Mendes
The Portuguese put up another top performance in the Champions League. He scored the decisive goal that sent Paris through to the semi-final.

He dominated Cash throughout most of the game tonight and in the first-leg. Though as all his teammates did he had a tough second half in the second-leg.

The 27-year-old had a very difficult tie against Villa, far from the standards he showcased since the beginning of the year.

The Frenchman had a solid first half, but disappeared in the second half as Villa took control of the game, until he was replaced by Désiré Doué.
