PSG are preparing for a difficult league fixture on Sunday when they host Champions League-chasing Olympique Lyonnais. Lyon is currently fifth in the table, a point away from fourth-placed Marseille and two points behind third-placed Lille. Their form has not been that good in the league. Les Gones have only tasted victory once in their last five league games, drawing three times and losing once.
Their sole victory came against Lorient at home (2-0), while their only defeat came against Monaco at home (1-2). If they don't improve on their recent form, they could risk missing out on Europe altogether. To make matters worse, Lyon got knocked out of the Europa League last month by Celta Vigo. They drew the first leg 1-1 in Spain and lost the second leg 2-0 at the Groupama Stadium. That result came a week after they got knocked out of the French Cup by Lens at home on penalties.
The French champions, in complete contrast, are in much better form. They have won four of their last five games. Their sole defeat came at home (1-3) to Monaco in March. Les Parisiens will be full of confidence heading into this game after dispatching Arne Slot's Liverpool 2-0 at Anfield. Luis Enrique's side will now play Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final.

Safonov; Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Beraldo, Hernandez; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Fernandez; Barcola, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia.
Lyon team news
Paulo Fonseca will not be able to call upon his strongest starting XI, as Malick Fofana (sore ankle), Ernest Nuamah (cruciate ligament injury), and Nicolas Tagliafico (suspension) won't feature for different reasons.
Lyon possible starting lineup:
Grief; Kango, Mata, Niakhate, Abner; Maitland-Niles, Tessmann; Karabec, Tolisso, Moreira; Yaremchuk.
Prediction: PSG 2-1 Lyon.
Despite not having a fully fit squad Luis Enrique's men should still have enough quality to get over the line against Lyon.
