PSG cruised past Reims to win 16th Coupe de France
Paris Saint-Germain dominated Stade de Reims 3-0 in the Coupe de France final on May 24 at the Stade de France as they lifted their 16th trophy in the competition. First half goals from Achraf Hakimi and a brace from Bradley Barcola sealed the win for Luis Enrique's side in a one-sided affair.
After a strong start, Bradley Barcola fired Paris Saint-Germain ahead in this final after a great collective move. Désiré Doué who replaced Kvaratskhelia in the starting lineup delivered a superb assists to his fellow France international sending him to a one-to-one against the keeper (16').
Just three minutes later, Barcola and Désiré Doué linked up once more as the former Rennes player delivered his second assist of the game to his teammate to double PSG's lead inside 20 minute (19') in a one-sided affair so far.
Achraf Hakimi made it 3-0 for Paris just before halftime after another wonderful collective movement (43'), showcasing Luis Enrique's side complete domination over the game.
Both sides went into the halftime break with Paris cruising to their 16th Coupe de France against a powerless Stade de Reims side.
In the second half, the French champions comfortably controlled the game and Luis Enrique's side then saw out the game after a good collective performance.
