Paris Saint-Germain's September schedule: Ligue 1, Champions League & more

The 2026-2027 season is underway and the 2026 transfer window is hours from its conclusion with PSG parting ways with both Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye. At the start of September, here is the full schedule of the back-to-back Champions League winners who are set to debut this year's edition while also facing their biggest rivals in the league.

PSG's upcoming schedule for September

Friday September 4th: AS Monaco

The Parisians will start a perillous month of September with a clash against AS Monaco, the current leaders of the Ligue 1 table. It will be the first game back at the Parc des Princes since the beginning of the season, which was due to the poor state of the pitch. The Monégasques are the only team in the league to secure two victories in their openingg two games. Meanwhile Paris failed to manage any wins after two games against Stade Rennais and Lille. While both games were away it remains two disappointing results as the team trailed by two goals on both occasions.

Wednesday September 9th: Slovan Bratislava

The Parisians will then start their Champions League campaign five days later, with a game against debutant Slovan Bratislava, a side led by Ivory Coast legend Yaya Touré. The Parisians and Luis Enrique will hope to start their title defence on the right foot against an opponent largely inferior to them.

They will play a second consecutive game at home with what should be an easy win in their first European window in-between two league games, which could sometimes be difficult.

Sunday September 13th: Stade Brestois

The Parisians will then travel to the Stade Francis-Le Blé to face Stade Brestois, a side that had the exact same results in the league with two 2-2 draws. By then they would have faced Le Havre on Matchday 3 of Ligue 1 McDonald's.

The Pirates have lost their head coach Eric Roy, who tragically passed away at the end of last season and they look to honour him at every home games this season.

Sunday September 20th: Olympique de Marseille

The Paris Saint-Germain will travel to the Stade Vélodrome to face their biggest rivals Olympique de Marseille in the last game of September. The side led by Bruno Genesio is having a very difficult season so far despite their opening 4-0 win over RC Strasbourg as they followed this result with a disappointing 2-0 away loss to AS Monaco.

Marseille are having massive financial issues this season but a Classique remains one of the biggest games in Ligue 1 despite Paris' overwhelming domestic domination.

September 21st to October 6th: International Break

The end of September will be the time of the first International window of the season, a window that will be 16-day long as it will combine the break of September and October, featuring four International games.
