Paris Saint-Germain is set to make their FIFA Club World Cup debut against Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid at the Rose Bowl Stadium, in Pasadena, California. It will be Paris' first game since winning the UEFA Champions League.
Luis Enrique and his side will have to face the Spanish giant without Ousmane Dembélé who sustained a muscular injury while on international duty with France. The 27-year-old is expected to miss every game of the group stage, with hope to see him make his return throughout the knockout stage of the competition.
Additionally, the Spaniard coach chose to align his strongest starting lineup with the same team that came out victorious in the Champions League final with the exception of Dembélé who will be replaced by Gonçalo Ramos in the starting lineup.

PSG cruised past Atlético Madrid in Club World Cup debut
Paris Saint-Germain cruised past Atlético Madrid 4-0 in their first game of the FIFA Club World Cup. Goals from Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Senny Mayulu and Kang-In Lee from the spot sealed the win for the European champions. They are taking a serious option on the qualification to the next round of the competition after beating the toughest opponent of Group B.
After a dominant start, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia set up perfectly Fabian Ruiz for long range effort that left no chance to Jan Oblak as PSG took the lead in this game after 19 minutes. The superb goal came after a top class collective movement started by Désiré Doué from the right side of the pitch.
Just before halftime, Vitinha doubled his side's lead after a great run in the middle of the pitch. The Portuguese scored with a superb strike that made its way into Oblak's net (45+1). Moments before, Antoine Griezmann missed a golden chance to level the score but Donnarumma's save denied the French legend and kept his side in the lead.
Argentine international Julian Alvarez thought to have pulled one back for Atlético Madrid at the 58th minute but his goal was disallowed after a foul from Koke on Doué in the build-up. Following Lenglet's red card, Senny Mayulu made it 3-0 for PSG at the 87th minute in another dominant display. Just before the final whistle, Lee Kang-In made it 4-0 from the spot after Le Normand's handball, sealing an emphatic win for the French Champions.
Up next, Luis Enrique and his side will face Brazilian side Botafogo on June 20 at the Rose Bowl Stadium.
