Paris punched their ticket to the Champions League final

Luis Enrique's men booked their ticket to the Champions League final following their 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Parc des Princes. Goals from Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi secured a 3-1 aggregate victory for the Parisians over the two legs.

Trailing by one goal, the Gunners started the game with high intensity, putting the hosts on the back foot from the start. Additionally, Paris could have conceded several goals if it wasn't for Gianluigi Donnarumma providing multiple world class saves to keep his side in the lead on aggregate after the first 15 minutes of the game.

However, after weathering the storm, Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring, his wonderful half volley leaving no chance to David Raya as he doubled Paris' advantage over the two legs (27'). Minutes later, wll served by Kvaratskhelia on a break, Bradley Barcola missed a golden opportunity in a one-to-one situation.

The second half saw Arsenal keeping their dominance on the ball while Paris operated through counterattacks. It was on one of these opportunities that Paris was awarded a penalty after a VAR check. Unfortunately, Vitinha saw his penalty stopped by David Raya as he missed a massive chance to seal Paris qualification.

Nonetheless, Achraf Hakimi made it 2-0 on the night and 3-0 on aggregate after a good service from substitute Ousmane Dembélé (72'). Four minutes later, Bukayo Saka cut into Paris' lead making it 3-1 on aggregate.

Up next, Paris Saint-Germain will face Inter Milan in the final of the competition on May 31 at the Allianz Arena in Munich as Paris will play the second Champions League final of their history.
