The March international break is nearly upon us, with PSG set to play their last game Ligue 1 game coming against OGC Nice on Saturday. Earlier this week, the Parisians have easily dominated Chelsea 3-0 (8-2 agg.) in the Round of 16 of the Champions League.

This upcoming international break will be the last before the 2026 World Cup that will take place in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Therefore featuring in this list is the last chance for many to prove themselves for a spot at the World Cup.

Today, Didier Deschamps, France National Team manager has called-up 26 players for this international break that will see the 2022 World Cup finalist face Brazil with Marquinhos and Columbia on March 26 and 29 respectively in two friendlies.

PSG players called-up for international duty

For this international window, five PSG players have been called-up by Deschamps, with Lucas Chevalier who has not featured for Paris since the end of January. The former Lille goalkeeper still has the support of Didier Deschamps but has been demoted to third choice goalkeeper for Les Bleus.

In defence, Lucas Hernandez is also part of the squad while Warren Zaire-Emery is set to feature in midfield alongside former PSG player Adrien Rabiot. For the forwards, 2025 Ballon d'Or Ousmane Dembélé and 2025 Golden Boy Désiré Doué both make their return to the National team after missing the last two call-ups through injuries. Additionally, former PSG star and France captain Kylian Mbappé also returns to the team for this window, as well as PSG loanee Randal Kolo Muani.

However, Bradley Barcola will not feature for France in this international window following his injury sustained in the second-leg against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and is set to several weeks of competition.

PSG players need to be careful throughout this window to avoid injuries

While it is important for these players to be called up with their national teams, it would be wise for PSG players to used this window to rest for the upcoming Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool. The Parisians have suffered many injuries this season, including Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé who missed several weeks of competition after injuries sustained with Les Bleus earlier this season.

Players like Lucas Hernandez and Lucas Chevalier are not as important for PSG than Dembélé and Doué at the moment and possible injuries to them would be less detrimental to the club.
