PSG and Luis Campos have reach an agreement to extend the Portuguese's contract at the club which will now expire in 2030.
Following Luis Enrique's contract extension earlier this season, it is now time for Campos to extend his presence within the club. The Portuguese has played a major role in Paris Saint-Germain's successes over the years, leading to what is certainly the best season in the history of the club.
His partnership with Luis Enrique and Nasser Al-Khelaifi is at the base of the new era started by the club this season. He is behind the numerous successful signings made by the club in the last two years and his contract extension was key in securing Luis Enrique's presence at the club for years to come.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Sporting Director was coveted by Manchester United but "he gave his full priority to PSG" as he never opened talks with the Premier League side.
Following his extension, QSI issued a statement on Luis Campos' new contrat with the organisation since he joined the club in June 2022.
"Luis Campos will oversee the sports strategy of the whole QSI group – including Paris Saint-Germain men’s football and counselling SC Braga. He will also be responsible for identifying other multi-club football, sports and talent properties for QSI to invest in; together with scouting, recruitment and all matters related to sports talent across the Group."
